I have never celebrated or experienced Christmas, but the 8 days that was spent with Santa Roger reaffirmed what many would say about Christmas – It’s the most wonderful time of the year…
Like a man who is jolly with a brimful of jelly, Santa Roger is every bit what a Santa Claus is portrayed as (plus much more!). What you read in the books, what you see in the movies, he brings not only Santa Claus to life, but with him the essence and true spirit of Christmas.
We were fortunate to have had Santa Roger as Santa Claus as his level of professionalism, punctuality and his ability to become accustomed quickly to changes has made our events run seamlessly. And with Mrs. Claus present as well, every minute spent with them feels like you’re literally covered with such warmth and fuzzy feeling that you’d wish it was snowing outside so just you could cuddle in front of a fireplace.
I vividly remember that one afternoon when Santa Roger had to put up with the scorching heat of the spotlights underneath that thick Santa Claus get-up whilst entertaining and listening to children’s Christmas wish on our main stage. We were aware that he was suffering from dehydration and fatigue but not once did he show a sign of discomfort or requested that the kids move faster. And all this whilst battling food poisoning!
Planning and running an event in a shopping mall for the holiday season is constantly challenging when you see people are out and about with their families while you have to work. But with Santa Roger, you are reminded that its joy that you’re spreading and that supersedes all other despondent emotions.
What others try so hard to achieve, Santa Roger makes it seem so effortless. From the boots, to the coat, the belt, the hat, the beard, the authentic belly, the affection laughter, and the affable attitude, Santa Roger is Santa Claus!
